Bring your sketch, reference sample or technical pack to Canton Bag Makers by Sunchain. We review what your bag needs to carry, how it should be worn and which construction details need development before sampling.
Define the bag around its use
A shoulder bag, work tote and compact crossbody need different carrying proportions. Include target dimensions with units, opening size, strap length, handle drop, pocket layout and intended contents. If you need a detachable strap or matching pouch, specify each component separately.
Build a workable material specification
Discuss genuine leather, PU, canvas or nylon alongside the required body structure and hand feel. Identify the material of the exterior, lining, trim and reinforcement separately. Swatches and a physical sample help review color and texture; a photograph cannot confirm material composition.
Prepare for sample review
- Provide design views and dimensions rather than relying on a single image.
- Identify essential features and any details still open to discussion.
- Send logo artwork, hardware references and packaging requirements.
- Record feedback on the sample and approve revisions in writing.
From approved sample to order planning
Confirm the final construction, materials, quantity per style and color, inspection criteria and delivery requirements. Share any product testing or documentation requirements early so the scope can be reviewed before bulk production.
Minimum order quantity: 100 pieces per style per color. Reference sampling time is 5–7 days and reference bulk production time is 25–30 days. Material availability, custom components, revisions, sample approval and production loading affect the confirmed schedule. Discuss the timeline for your project before placing an order.
